Mamie Powell took Blanche Jaak home from the hospital, and they had arrived back at the residence.
Having been away for so long, little Blanche Jaak was exceptionally excited to see her old man again, it's a pity she couldn't speak yet and could only babble on incessantly.
Basil Jaak gently kissed the baby's tender face, soothing little Blanche Jaak to rest while saying to Mamie Powell, "Tomorrow, I need to go to Beji."
Mamie Powell, who had been sitting by the window reading, was slightly startled upon hearing Basil Jaak's words. She simply acknowledged with a "Hmm" and continued with her reading.
Basil Jaak saw that Blanche Jaak had fallen asleep, so he gently placed the little one in the crib and plopped down next to Mamie Powell.
"Blanche will soon be a month old, what are your plans?" asked Basil Jaak.
Mamie Powell slowly raised her head, closed the book, and asked, "If you have something to say, just say it straight!"
