When Basil Jaak entered the hospital ward, the doctor had already left after completing the examination, leaving Dawn Sutton alone in the hospital bed.
"How are you feeling now?" Basil Jaak asked while placing some stuff on the bedside cabinet.
"Much better! The doctor said my wound is healing particularly quickly; many areas have already begun to scab." Dawn Sutton paused, then sighed, "But I still have to stay in bed for a week. It's really annoying."
Basil chuckled, "You should be content! Getting stabbed in the back like you did, and the whole blade sunk in - you are lucky to have survived, yet you're fixated on when you can be discharged."
Thinking about the rescue process the day before, Dawn Sutton shuddered. If Basil's blood hadn't been a match, she might have...
At this thought, Dawn expressed her gratitude, "Thank you."
"What for?" Basil asked.
"You know what!" Protesting his feigned ignorance, Dawn glared at Basil.
