The next day, Jessica Flack received a call from Norberto Flack, informing her that he was flying to Song River on behalf of the head office for a negotiation. He instructed Basil Jaak to lead the others back to Rong City, and Kayson and the rest suggested not taking a plane back.
So, Jaak led them all on a high-speed train ride back to Rong City.
Even though high-speed trains made traveling by railway much faster, it was still slower than flying. To travel from Beji to Rong City, it would take almost fourteen hours on a high-speed train; catching the seven o'clock evening train in Beji and arriving in Rong City around nine the following morning, could be described as "leaving at dusk and arriving at dawn."
"Whew, finally made it on!" Kayson exclaimed, tossing her package onto the bunk before plopping down onto it without any ounce of grace.
Amanda and Lydia White followed suit and climbed up too.
