Seeing Basil Jaak return from the office, buzzing from food and drink, Bald Head's eyes widened, rapidly rubbing at them, as if he was hallucinating.
"Jaak, you're back so early?" Bald Head tried to keep his disbelief out of his tone, turning to Basil Jaak with his question.
Basil Jaak laughed and said, "If I don't come back, should I stay there to have a late night snack?"
"But… those two directors are notoriously strict, they usually make people who get into fights face the wall for a day. How did they let you back so quickly?" Bald Head asked, just as curious as the others to discover the 'miracle' of Basil Jaak's swift return.
Turns out, they all thought I had been taken by the brothers for a day of repentance.
