East Street police station was not large. It was more like a courtyard. When Basil Jaak and Yetta Astir walked in, no one stopped or questioned them.
The courtyard had two police cars and three police motorcycles. Overall, it gave off somewhat a decrepit vibe.
Fortunately, the signs on the doors of each office were still clear. Yetta Astir, pulling Basil Jaak along, went straight to the office of the station director.
However, after knocking on the door for a long time, they got no response. It was empty.
"Mr. Gavin, look, isn't that the woman we ran into at the noodle shop?"
Dwight, who had just returned to the station, walked out of the rest room and spotted Yetta Astir knocking on the opposite second-floor door. His face changed, and he turned to speak to Gavin in the rest room.
