Qin Xue finished drying Basil Jaak's clothes in the rental house and then had him change back into his original attire.
After they got themselves ready, they finally left the house. Qin Xue needed to return the company car, so Basil Jaak went out with her.
After accompanying Qin Xue to return the car at the company, it was already 7:30 pm.
Knowing that Qin Xue hadn't eaten dinner yet, Basil Jaak invited her to have dinner together.
"No, Jaak, you've helped me so much and even got your clothes wet saving me. Tonight, dinner is on me."
After some back and forth, Qin Xue insisted on inviting Basil Jaak for dinner, and he finally agreed after being unable to dissuade her.
"I know a barbecue stand that's really good. Even though it's a street stall, the taste is truly great. It's over there; we can get there in half an hour's walk."
"Then let's walk over there."
