The first ray of morning sunlight streamed into the room, Basil Jaak had Lydia White in his arms as he opened his bleary eyes, immediately catching sight of her in his embrace.
The two of them weren't wearing anything, covered only by a white bedsheet. Basil's palm touched Lydia's smooth skin and he instantly felt a warmth akin to soft jade, refreshing to the heart and delightful to the soul.
"Mmm..."
Lydia, who was sound asleep, was suddenly woken up by Basil's movements.
In a hazy state, Lydia was startled and instinctively let out a sound, then came fully awake and reached back to pinch behind her.
"Oh no!"
Basil Jaak exclaimed, sensing trouble and attempting to dodge to the side, but obviously it was too late, and he resigned himself to his fate.
"Behave yourself early in the morning, get some proper sleep!"
Lydia turned her head, gave Basil a gentle look, then turned back around, closed her eyes, and planned to continue sleeping.
