After hanging up the phone, Su Ningyan opened her wardrobe, grabbed a new nightgown and prepared to take a bath.
She rubbed her shoulders, feeling mildly sore. A bath should provide some relief.

She reached for her nightgown on the hanger, but mishandled it and dropped it on the floor.
Su Ningyan slightly furrowed her eyebrows as she observed the nightgown's hem soaking up water. She decided to find another one.
She left the bathroom wrapped in a towel.
Downstairs, when Zhuo Junyue returned home, the housemaid was startled. "Young master, why did you come back so suddenly? Do you want anything to eat?"
"No need!"
Zhuo Junyue, engrossed in thoughts of his sweetheart, ascended the stairs. Right now, no meal could satiate him except for her.
