After lunch, Su Shijie drove them back to the Zhuo family's house.
Su Ningyan noticed that her idiot brother and Zhuo Junyi still acted as if they were strangers, which meant they definitely hadn't reconciled.
"Xiao Jie, why don't you spend some more time with An An today?" she suggested.
An An immediately nodded, tugging at Su Shijie's sleeve, "Uncle Xiao, you can't leave so soon, help me build a castle."
"Alright, An An, Uncle Xiao will play with you."
An An led Su Shijie upstairs, but didn't play for long before the little princess grew tired.
She hadn't had her nap and promptly fell asleep on Su Shijie's lap.
He carefully carried her to the bed and tucked her in.
Looking at An An sleeping, he couldn't help but think of her.
Was she still angry? He felt the need to explain things to her.
And so, with his head full of these thoughts, he couldn't help but walk to her bedroom door.
He was about to knock when he realized the door was unlocked and swung open at his push.
