"Oh, so you think our acquaintance is still in its infancy? Should we deepen our understanding then?" Jun Mochan's eyes were twinkling with an enigmatic light.
As an adult, Ye Ranran naturally understood his innuendos. She blushed in embarassment and anger, grabbing the sheets with one hand and flinging a pillow at him with the other.
"Jun Mochan, you're a pervert," she accused.
"Hehe." Jun Mochan's eyes softened as he chuckled lightly.
Furious, Ye Ranran turned her head away, refusing to look at him.
Seeing her shy reaction, Jun Mochan stopped teasing her and rose to his feet, heading towards the bathroom.
As the footsteps gradually receded, Ye Ranran turned her head back.
When the bathroom door finally closed, she hopped up from the bed.
The clothes she needed were already laid out on the bedside table. She picked up the latest J.C. model dress.
In stark black and white, the dress had a shirt design that exuded an office lady style, perfectly suitable for Ye Ranran.
Her long curly hair framed her face, and her large eyes, petite, palm-sized face, and flawless skin radiated a faint and natural blush.
If not for her sophisticated demeanor, one would believe her to be a recent college graduate.
As Ye Ranran was zipping up her dress, the bathroom door swung open.
Jun Mochan emerged in a fresh bathrobe, hanging loosely over his figure. His innate elegance gave him the serene air of the first morning breeze on a summer day.
Refreshingly cool, yet gentle.
Upon seeing Ye Ranran, his eyes filled with satisfaction.
"I need to go fetch something later. You don't have to wait for me." Ye Ranran refused to meet Jun Mochan's gaze, averting her eyes awkwardly.
This man had a strong presence. Even if she tried, she couldn't ignore him.
"Where are you going? I'll drive you." He turned and walked towards the wardrobe, not giving Ye Ranran the option to refuse his offer.
The car parked smoothly in front of the luxurious residential complex.
This place was located in the city center, a prime location where only the rich resided.
Initially, Ye Ranran had acquired this house at a high price, outbidding others, and now it was being enjoyed by that unfaithful couple.
Jun Mochan, from her expression, knew who she was about to meet, and this place was not unfamiliar to him either.
"If you don't want to go, then don't. You can always buy new things," he suggested-
"No, I need to go." Ye Ranran lifted her head arrogantly.
"I can go by myself." She slammed the car door shut.
She did not want others to see her in such a sorry state.
The Thirteenth floor.
As soon as she stepped out of the elevator, Ye Ranran heard Ye Tianjiao's voice.
"Move all these things in and throw those out."
Ye Ranran quickened her steps, turning the corner just in time to see Ye Tianjiao come into view.
She was directing two women to throw out some clothes and other items. Ye Ranran could tell whose these things were without even looking.
She bent down to pick up one of the shirts that had been thrown out, "I didn't realize you were in such a hurry to get rid of me."
She was so eager to rid everything of Ye Ranran's presence.
Without the cameras, Ye Tianjiao dropped her disguise of gentility: "I thought my sister would no longer need these old items, so I had someone clean them up for you."
Ye Tianjiao was wearing a low-cut dress, with visible hickeys on her neck and body. It was as if she was silently challenging Ye Ranran.
Ye Ranran couldn't help wondering whether she was purposely tilting her head back while speaking to her, as if wanting to make sure Ye Ranran saw everything clearly.
Ye Ranran looked at her with mockery: "Well, thank you, little sister. But, allow me to remind you, with a baby on the way, even newlyweds have to be careful. After all, the pregnancy is not yet stable."
