"Mummy, what happened?" Yuanyuan was utterly shocked and steadied Ye Lu, her concern evident.
Ye Lu didn't know how to explain to them, and was just about to say it was nothing.
But then she heard Third Young Master Jun groan from behind her.
"Daddy, what's wrong with you? You're covered in blood." Yiyi's voice was filled with panic.
Ye Lu suddenly turned around and saw Third Young Master Jun as pale as a sheet, his lips drained of colour. His body softened, and he braced himself with one hand on the arm of the sofa to prevent himself from collapsing. Yiyi was tenderly supporting him, her little face full of worry.
Ye Lu's heart jumped, and she rushed over to gently help him lie down on the sofa. Seeing his stern, pale face drenched in cold sweat, he wore an expression of utter exhaustion.
"I'm fine," Third Young Master Jun grasped the little girl's hand, managing a weak smile.
