Those reckless bullets were flying all over the place.
"s-h-i-t," Ling Kong cursed under his breath, as the driver was still in a daze. He suddenly yanked the steering wheel, causing the vehicle to screech as it skidded on the ground, forcing it to make a sharp turn, then he stomped on the accelerator.
He grabbed the driver by the collar, his young face stern.
"Keep it together, get out of here, head to the main street. Drive smoothly, don't jostle the pregnant woman."
The driver snapped out of it, having experienced dangerous situations before. He quickly regained control of the vehicle and sped away from the scene.
"What's happening?" Ye Lu asked, her heart finally settling down as they got farther and farther away from the firefight.
"Someone is ambushing us."
Ye Lu was shocked, "Could it be that we were accidentally caught in the crossfire?"
