"Lu, are you and Yiyi coming home for dinner tonight?" came Ye Wanli's loving voice from the other end.
Ye Lu was taken aback, immediately sensing something was not right. Anxiously, she asked, "Dad, didn't you pick up Yiyi?"
"Pick up Yiyi? No, when did you ask me to pick her up? I didn't receive a call!"
