Xu Feng'e pushed Ahua away and said defiantly, "I'm broke, now scram!"
Ahua, who had been all smiles, now looked grim. "So you don't want to lend me money?"
"That's right!" Xu Feng'e nodded.
"Fine, if you won't lend me money, I'll find another way to get it…" Ahua hinted.
Xu Feng'e was about to leave, then stopped. "How much do you want to borrow?"
Ahua sneered. "I thought you said you were broke? Why do you care?"
"Just tell me what you need!" Xu Feng'e insisted.
"One hundred thousand!"
"I don't have 100 thousand!" Xu Feng'e looked helpless. "You know, just because I'm married to a rich man doesn't mean I'm rich myself. My husband's monthly allowance for me is limited. Here's ten thousand, use it first!"
Ahua looked at the ten thousand as if it were just ten. It didn't make him any happier. "I'm not asking for spending money, I'm borrowing money to do some business!"
