"Could you please lower your voice?" the female innkeeper said, visibly angry and worried. "You're going to scare off all my guests with your shouting. What if they all decide to leave? Can you compensate for my losses?"
"Is that how you talk to a customer? You don't even apologize?" An angered Lin Xiangwan retorted in the midst of her shock.
"Apologize, of course, I apologize to you! But could you be a bit quieter?" The woman quickly softened her tone. She was obviously worried that Lin Xiangwan would continue to make a ruckus and affect her business.
