The sky was unexpectedly enveloped by dark clouds, dim and gloomy.
Yan Chu ran along the mountain path searching, when suddenly he heard rustling noises coming from behind...
Startled, he whirled around, lifting his gaze, only to see the small hillside above densely covered with green snakes, easily numbering in the thousands, quickly slithering forward!
Yan Chu was taken aback, these snakes he knew all too well—they were the Yan Family Castle's snakes.
Before he could react, two figures flashed before his eyes, throwing out vine whips to entangle Yan Chu's arms, then grabbed his shoulders and pushed him forward—
"Let me go!"
Yan Chu shouted through clenched teeth, but the vine whips were not something he could break free from, and two strong men pushed him to a shaded tree not far ahead, kicking the back of his legs to force him to kneel.
"Chu Er," a faintly authoritative voice came from above, "when did you come back, without even telling your father?"
