Bai Lu received a call from Bai Shao while she was dreaming about chasing and frolicking with baby boy in the Yan Family garden. As she answered the call and half-dreamily heard Bai Shao's voice, she softly called out, "Mommy!"
"Baby, are you taking a nap?"
"Mmmm..."
Bai Lu sat up and ruffled her hair, "When are you and Daddy coming back?"
"What's the rush? You and Yen Yen aren't exactly weaned. Your father and I plan to come back in the middle of next month. If you need anything, just ask your older cousin or Aunt Ying Zi."
Bai Lu got out of bed, uncovering the blankets, "Mommy, isn't your anniversary trip with Daddy a bit too long this time..."
While Bai Lu was certainly happy that her parents were affectionate, she hadn't seen them for two or three months and genuinely missed them.
