At ten o'clock, Yan Bo suddenly made a phone call.
"Xiao Hua, is it okay if you come home a bit later tonight?"
Tong Xiaohua was somewhat taken aback. Since their relationship had progressed from friends to lovers, they usually met between evening and eight or nine o'clock. Generally, Yan Bo seldom asked her out this late.
"Is there something wrong? If it's something urgent, I could let my parents know. It's okay if I go back later."
Though Tong Xiaohua had never returned late from a date, she knew from her mother's attitude that returning home late was not an issue, as long as she was with Yan Bo.
"I just found out that a band I really like is performing in L City tonight, starting at 10:30. Could you come with me to see them?"
Tong Xiaohua glanced sideways at Qin Ming sitting beside her, leaned slightly to one side, and with a soft chuckle, said, "If I don't go, who do you plan to ask to accompany you?"
A hearty laugh came from the phone, "Tsk! Are you jealous?"
