Mr. Yan faintly nodded at the family of three, as a greeting, and looked away. He made a phone call to his driver asking him to buy takeout from the nearest hotel.
After hanging up the phone, Mr. Yan directed his gaze at the little boy, "When the food comes, if the mistake is on your part, you won't eat!"
Mr. Yan knew very well the difference between spoiling and doting. They differed by just a single character but the outcomes were worlds apart.
The little boy blinked without saying a word, silently accepting Mr. Yan's decision.
The couple had already brought their son closer. They were no longer as arrogant as they were with the teacher and the little boy. Mr. Luo, looking terrified, cautiously approached Mr. Yan and asked.
"Mr. Yan, is this… is this your son, young Master Yan?"
Mr. Yan patted the little boy's head, "Yes, just like a puppy."
