The two started talking about Zhu Qianying going back to M country and eventually moved on to discussing their son starting school.
"By the way, I talked to the principal about our son's situation the other day. He suggested that we could let our son take a test, and if he is willing, we could then place him in a class that corresponds to his actual academic level."
Both Yan and Zhu Qianying had experiences of skipping grades during their schooling, so they understood that sticking to the norm by placing their little boy in the middle class of kindergarten might not necessarily be in his best interest.
