When Yan Bo finally managed to tear his gaze away, he was met with the complex look in Tong Xiaohua's eyes.
"What's wrong, doesn't it taste good?"
Seeing her frown, Yan Bo's first reaction was to think that the taste of her food didn't agree with her palate.
Tong Xiaohua's probing gaze wandered over his face a few times before she forcefully swallowed the meat in her mouth.
Yan Bo rarely saw her choke down her food like this, assuming that her steak was either not tasty or the texture was off to her liking, he reached out and pulled her plate towards him, then, he lifted his own and placed it in front of her.
"Try mine, the taste is quite good, and the texture is very tender."
But Tong Xiaohua didn't make a sound, just quietly looked at him for a while, then, under his puzzled gaze, she put down her knife and fork.
"Yan Bo, do you think I lack cultural refinement?"
