By the time Young Master Yan came home, it was almost 4 o'clock, he sneakily entered the door, and the little nightlight was on. The living room was eerily silent, it was clear that everyone had already fallen asleep.
Hence, Young Master Yan cautiously sneaked into his bedroom, silently shut the door, and turned around only to see Zhu Qianying sitting in lotus bowl position on the bed, with her laptop on her knees, engrossed in whatever she was looking at.
In response, Young Master Yan frowned and turned on the room light.
The sudden bright light startled Zhu Qianying. It took her a moment to adjust to its intensity. She squints and sees him and gives him a comforting smile, "You're back?"
Young Master Yan walked over and leaned over the bed to kiss her lips.
"Why aren't you sleeping yet? Didn't I ask you to go to bed early?"
Zhu Qianying raised her hand and hugged his neck pitifully, saying, "I can't sleep…"
