Zhu Qianying was rather shocked to receive a call from Luo Yifan.
At first, she thought that something might have happened to her mother. It wasn't until she listened closely that she realized her future stepfather was planning to accompany her mother to placate her uncle.
The reason Luo Yifan called was to ask Zhu Qianying about her uncle's interests.
This question left Zhu Qianying feeling bewildered.
"Uncle Luo, didn't my mom mention that I've never met my grandparents or my uncle?" she asked.
On the other end of the line, Luo Yifan let out an audible "Ah!"
Clearly, Chen Jing had indeed mentioned this to him.
"Uncle Luo, all I know is that my uncle is probably around four or five years younger than you, so he should be in his 50s. You should have a better idea of what a man that age likes. But let me remind you not to buy anything too extravagant. Something practical is always best," she advised.
