The decision to take a vacation at the beach on Friday was thus settled.
When Chen Jing returned from the restaurant, Zhu Qianying asked her if she wanted to join them for a day or two on Friday. After all, under Chen Jing's guidance, the two chefs could already make some decent dishes. They should be able to handle a day without her.
But Chen Jing shook her head in refusal, "It's not right to do that. Most of the customers come for my cooking and if I'm not there, it might feel like we're deceiving them."
Zhu Qianying knew that her mother's success was not easy, and so, she placed great importance on the reputation and customer base of the restaurant.
Since she knew this, she didn't insist any further.
