Zhu Qianying held her son, her irate gaze was firmly fixed on Yan's handsome face. She gritted her teeth, then asked.
"Is the tea good?"
Yan didn't seem to detect the anger in her voice. He turned his head towards her and flashed her a grin.
"Why don't you try?" With that said, he brought the cup to her lips, his movements so casual and intimate that it drove Zhu Qianying insane!
Even while she was sitting behind her office desk, looking through documents, what remained in her mind was Yan's loathsome face.
"Ying Zi, there's a meeting in a half hour. You should attend!"
Cheng Ye knocked from outside the room, pushed open the door and peeked in to notify her.
"Okay!" Zhu Qianying quickly composed herself and focused on the work at hand.
She hadn't forgotten that she'd promised to take a couple of days off to spend with her son.
After the meeting ended and everyone else had left, only Zhu Qianying and Cheng Ye remained in the conference room.
