After some silence, when Zhu Qianying showed no signs of continuing, Yan Shao gazed at her inquisitively and asked, "That's all?"
Zhu Qianying obediently nodded, "Yes, that's all."
Yan Shao took a deep look at her and did not probe further.
The two of them barely knew each other, had not had any interactions before the selection, and so they remained silent until they finished their food.
Yan Shao started eating his fruit, while Zhu Qianying bent down to clean up the leftover food on the table.
"Come over tomorrow night."
Yan Shao didn't state a specific location, but Zhu Qianying understood what he meant.
She straightened up and looked at him, "Aren't you too busy?"
Yan Shao replied lightly, "I rescheduled."
Zhu Qianying didn't know if the "rescheduling" he referred to was socializing or something else. Anyway, since he asked her to go, she would go.
