Huo Yu nodded, looking at Huo Xin with twinkling eyes of amusement, leaving Huo Xin utterly puzzled.
"So, what are you thinking now?" Huo Xin asked uncertainly, now that she knew his feelings, what was she supposed to think?
"I accept your affection, but does your family know about your feelings for me? Are they aware? Will they accept me, given my background? You should certainly know. You should clarify it with them first before confessing your feelings to me."
Huo Yu was practical; she would not engage in a relationship with him imprudently just because he liked her. She had her own doubts given her age.
"They all know about it and aren't you also in frequent contact with them? You must have a feel of their character by now, they probably see that I like you."
Huo Xin laughed, sensing that his parents rather liked her. They acknowledged her past, showed her compassion, and treated her very well.
