Shen Lang didn't make Shen Xinglan wait too long. He returned soon enough.
As soon as he was back, Shen Qinghe stopped teaching Huo Shiyan about parenting.
"Is your leg healed? How come you are going out?" Shen Lang's primary concern was still Shen Xinglan's leg; nothing was more important than her well-being.
"It's already healed. It wasn't a major injury; you all worried too much."
Shen Xinglan smiled; they had been too anxious. It seemed severe, in reality, it wasn't, and it didn't affect the bones.
"That's good." Shen Lang smiled elegantly. Her knee swelling worried them all. If the three brothers weren't too busy, they all wanted to bring her back from Silver Bay.
"Cousin, are we sure the bell sound truly originated from the Xie Family? Could Uncle and Aunt Xie have misheard it?"
Shen Xinglan questioned. The bell sound was from their own family; how could they not recognize it at the time? They should've recognized it after the first sounding.
