Gu Chen's eating motion paused, "It has already started?"
Zhang Chi looked at him curiously, "You noticed?"
No way? He had been busy till midnight installing new locks and surveillance at Shen Xian's place last night, and now he had rushed over first thing in the morning with what he thought was advanced notice, only to get this response.
Wasn't that too nonchalant?
"Mhm."
Gu Chen finished the last of his Rice Wine Porridge and casually took a napkin to wipe his mouth, his movements elegant and leisurely.
"When did you notice?"
Zhang Chi was greatly surprised – was this guy really so calm and collected?
"Not too early, about a week ago."
Zhang Chi's mouth twitched, "So why was I in such a hurry this early in the morning, eh? I didn't even sleep well last night, rushed over as soon as it was light. Great, you know everything and don't tell me anything, making me miss out on my lazy sleep – you owe me!"
"What do I owe you?"
Gu Chen raised an eyebrow and asked lazily.
