This was the first time in so long that Shen Xian hadn't arrived at the company on time.
By the time she reached the thirty-third floor, she just happened to run into Ma Qi, yawning with a look of weariness, coming out of the pantry.
"Morning," Ma Qi said arrogantly, tilting her diamond-studded nails, her fingers carelessly pinching the coffee cup as she cast a word in Shen Xian's direction while passing by her.
"Didn't sleep well last night?" Shen Xian asked indifferently, her gaze briefly flicking to Tang Yin whose fingers flew over the keyboard.
"Did you?" Ma Qi retorted, glancing at Shen Xian who was still carrying her bag, clearly meaning "Isn't that obvious?"
Shen Xian didn't get angry but replied, "I wish," and then headed straight to Gu Chen's office.
After knocking on the door, she heard Gu Chen's lazy response and then pushed the door to enter.
