Gu Chen looked at him gratefully, nodded his head, and finally patted Gu Yan on the shoulder, "Think about what I just said, and when you're sure, I'll tell you."
He was talking about Gu Yan going to see Gu Cheng.
Gu Yan didn't agree nor did he refuse; he simply nodded. No one knew if he would give it some thought or actually go.
"Hey, hey, my big nephew, don't go. Tell me what's going on; I really don't know anything, Chen, my big nephew!"
Gu Heng stood there, likely pondering what exactly he had helped his second brother do, and by the time he snapped out of it, Gu Chen was already far away. He hurriedly called out and chased after him.
He was heavy and now felt insubstantial inside, making his walk wobbly and laughably unsteady. His calls of "big nephew" failed to halt Gu Chen's forward steps. Before he could catch up, Gu Chen had already gotten into his car and soon after deftly drove away.
"Oh no!"
