Shu Yan saw the two coming and immediately stood up to meet them.
"Daming, Chengzi, what did the doctor say?"
The tall one with sun-darkened skin was Daming, holding the medical report the doctor had given him and handing it to Shu Yan.
"We need to continue monitoring. The hospital has already assembled an expert team that's having an all-night consultation, they're currently in a meeting," Daming said.
Standing next to him, with a dejected look, was Chengzi. Upon hearing Daming's words, he thumped his own head.
"If only I had been more decisive!"
"Chengzi, don't blame yourself. During the mission briefing, it was said that they were important leads. We couldn't open fire unless absolutely necessary..."
Daming was comforting Chengzi, but before he could finish the word "fire," he caught sight of Shen Xian standing up.
"Sister Xian!"
He exclaimed with surprise.
The downcast Chengzi, upon hearing it, immediately lifted his head and looked in the direction of Daming's gaze.
