"So grandfather was already aware," Jiang Jingyan said with a slight smile.
The old man Jiang calmly responded, "Surprised, aren't you? I must say, it wasn't easy for an old man like me to find out."
"I've never underestimated you, grandpa. It's just that work keeps me so occupied that I don't get much chance to be by your side. So, I have the butler update me on your activities. Once I know you're okay, I feel at ease."
Jiang Jingyan spoke sincerely, and the old man nodded with satisfaction.
"Hmm, that sounds like a good reason," Grandpa Jiang said.
Even though Jiang Jingyan wasn't particularly talkative, he was incredibly thoughtful.
Grandpa knew exactly what his grandson was like. He himself was the type to voice out his thoughts, be it happy or sad matters. He could never hide it.
Jiang Jingyan, on the other hand, was completely opposite. He wouldn't know his thoughts unless he figured them out.
