However, Wen Zhiyao didn't want to always be led by the nose.
Her stubbornness surged, making her reckless.
"So, have you thought about when you'll switch jobs?" came a teasing male voice from behind.
Wen Zhiyao stiffenced, and turned on instinct to see a man in a suit standing at the door. He was tall and handsome, and, at first glance, his face looked vaguely familiar.
She felt as though she'd seen this man somewhere before.
But, Wen Zhiyao couldn't remember at the moment.
How embarrassing. The man overheard her conversation. Now, he must think she was just bluffing.
"Well, I'm considering it, considering it," Wen Zhiyao replied flippantly, watching as the man walked straight to a chair in front of the desk and sat down.
Wen Zhiyao swallowed. Damn, she had bragged right in front of the CEO, and now she'd been caught.
This was a disaster. He certainly wouldn't have a good first impression of her.
On the surface, Wen Zhiyao was calm. But inside, there was a turbulent storm.
