"Before sure about something, you need enough evidence. Do you have any right now?" Jiang She reminded.
Wen Zhiyao shook her head. She didn't have any evidence; it was all just speculation.
Perhaps things weren't as she'd imagined.
"No, my mind is in a mess right now." Wen Zhiyao sighed, feeling utterly lost.
She felt directionless for the moment.
The drunkenness was uncomfortable, and as sleepiness set in, she couldn't resist falling asleep.
Jiang She called her name a couple of times but got no response.
Then, he lifted her onto the bed, pulled over a comforter, and covered her.
He pulled a chair over to sit by the bed. Looking at the sleeping figure, Jiang She couldn't help but reach out to touch her cheek.
Feeling something on her cheek, Wen Zhiyao brushed it away in her sleep, turned over, and fell asleep with her back to Jiang She.
Jiang She got up, a small smile on his lips, and left the room.
