Early in the morning, Wen Zhiyao was inspecting building materials. She noticed that a lot of the items in the shipment were subpar.
Liu Yuntong stood nearby, waiting for Wen Zhiyao's nod of approval.
Once inspection was over, Wen Zhiyao's face darkened slightly as she noted dissatisfiedly, "I don't want these goods. Take them back."
Having said that, Wen Zhiyao turned to leave.
Liu Yuntong coldly fixed his gaze on her, his voice laced with sarcasm, "So you're just a little secretary, but you think yourself quite impressive, huh? Without a man backing you, you wouldn't even have the right to be judging here."
Liu Yuntong's words deeply provoked Wen Zhiyao.
She paused, turning her head to look at his still-lingering gloating figure.
