"Tired?" Jiang She mused over this word, sensing something was off. His anger hadn't yet dissipated. He stretched out his long legs and suggested, "If you're tired, you can sit on my lap."
It was meant as a taunt, but Wen Zhiyao took it literally and sat down.
She kicked off her high heels, feeling some relief at last.
Jiang She deliberately pulled her into his arms, his brows furrowed, "Could you at least try to act like a woman in front of me?"
Wen Zhiyao was nonchalant. "I normally don't wear high heels in the office. If Mr. Jiang has an issue with that, he's free to go back to his own office."
"You…" Jiang She was left speechless.
Wen Zhiyao laid out her day's accomplishments, "Today I helped Young Master Huang a bit, and our company will receive 200,000. Although it's not a big sum, it's my contribution. Please don't forget my share, Mr. Jiang."
There was nothing but smiles on Wen Zhiyao's face when she mentioned the incoming sum.
