After class, Lin Shu made a few more jokes and exchanged pleasantries before packing up and getting ready to leave for her next class.
"Wait a moment, teacher, I have something to discuss with you."
Just as Lin Shu took her first step out of the classroom, a female student hurried after her and came up beside her.
Upon hearing the voice, Lin Shu turned around to see Na Linlin, the girl she had been hugging, her face lighting up in a smile.
"What's up? What's the matter?"
It seemed as though Na Linlin had thought of something. A blush crept up her face as she scratched her head and spoke.
"Can you come to my engagement party? As a witness?"
Lin Shu was a bit taken aback. She looked at the girl in front of her, not expecting to be invited in such an important capacity.
Seeing Lin Shu's silence, Na Linlin thought she wasn't going to agree, and clung onto her arm, pleading.
"Please come, teacher. I really want you there to witness it."
