"Stop pretending to be innocent for this young man; I know he was the one who dragged you out to play." Mr. Fang glared at Fang Zhi, as if he were some hoodlum who was taking his granddaughter out on a date.
The way he looked at him didn't resemble someone looking at his own grandson, but rather at an unscrupulous rogue who's about to woo his granddaughter.
"Grandpa, say whatever you want, I only took Lin Shu out to roller skate. She's been stuck at the company or at home for a while now, so I wanted to change her mood a bit," Fang Zhi explained.
But only Mr. Fang could sense the ever-so-slight oddness between the two of them.
"Enough talking, I guess Shushu is angry? I have no idea what you've done to upset her again," Mr. Fang was getting angry and wished he could chuck a cane at Fang Zhi.
"Isn't this just because she fell while roller skating? She was upset because I wasn't there to support her," Fang Zhi quickly explained.
