"It's my family's business to begin with, why does everyone insist on meddling?" said Lin Shu, visibly annoyed. "We're here as part of a teaching initiative, supposedly to impart knowledge to these children. Why the need to interfere with my personal affairs? Does it contribute to the progress of our teaching? Does it help these children in any way?"
The rest of the teachers in the dormitory were left speechless by Lin Shu's questioning.
Indeed, while it was one thing to gossip in private, it was quite another to confront Teacher Lin with it. And such gossip, admittedly, had zero benefits and only served to disrupt work and teaching progress. It was entirely detrimental.
