Su Wenjing seemed to have turned a corner, and when Lin Shu followed her, she had already disappeared.
She didn't dare to move around, but when she turned around, she saw a wooden room door. She stepped forward and knocked on it.
"Su Wenjing, are you inside?" Lin Shu asked as she continued to knock on the door.
There was no answer from inside, but the door was slightly open, providing her a glimpse of the room with a simple push.
Lin Shu knocked for a while but there was still no response. Unable to contain her curiosity, she gently pushed open the door, only to be greeted by the one scene she least wanted to see.
The room, generally an ordinary storage space, held a picture frame in one corner.
Seeing a mark on the wall where the frame used to hang, she instinctively reached to hang it back.
But the moment she picked it up and saw the radiant smiles of two people in the photograph, she hesitated. For in the picture was a much younger Fang Zhi.
