As Lin Shu was about to call, a passing police officer was brought over by passersby.
"This guy took someone else's child, claiming her as his own!"
Lin Shu was stunned by the unexpected commotion.
The officer quickly assessed the situation: a detained man and Little Tangyuan, who was tightly nestled in Lin Shu's arms.
At a glance, the officer could figure out what had happened.
"We will take him to the station for further investigation. Do you have anything else to say?"
The officer grabbed the man's hand. As handcuffs weren't brought along, the man had to be taken back to the station without cuffs.
"No, nothing."
Lin Shu shook her head. She thought that it would be the end of it when the man began yelling again.
