Shen Lan accompanied Mother Cheng to the reunion at not particularly bustling, but rather a scenic resort.
People their age generally have a preference for such places, and upon their arrival at the resort, Shen Lan was welcomed by the refreshing air.
She drew in a deep breath, appreciating it.
"Mom, the scenery here is quite good."
"Of course, it's away from the city, without the noise and many people come here for vacations. This resort belongs to a friend of mine, not bad, right?"
Shen Lan emphatically nodded, "Really not bad, the business here appears to be thriving. Despite it being not a holiday season, it's full of people."
Mother Cheng guided Shen Lan further inside, answering as they walked, "Yes, business has been going well here owing to the clean air, many people prefer staying here."
"This is my friend's resort, so if you want to come play, there's no entry fee, you can come anytime."
