A morning's work left Shen Lan feeling somewhat tired.
From a lack of rest the night before, her eyes looked weary and unresponsive.

"Lan Lan, what on earth have you been up to these days? It's been a while since you last contacted me."
Upon hearing her best friend's voice on the phone, Shen Lan let out a rare smile.
"You know I just started working, it echoes a period of adjustment."
"I know you're busy, you don't need to explain that to me. I'm calling to ask if you're free for lunch?"
With everything that had happened recently, Shen Lan had been overwhelmed with responsibilities.
Thinking about how long it had been since she last saw her best friend, she agreed without hesitation.
"My lunch break isn't that long, why don't you come to my office vicinity? We can grab a bite and catch up. Do you know of any suitable part-time jobs? Preferably ones that are available after work hours or during weekends."
