Deng Yu sprang up from her seat and walked over to the director, with Qi Teng following closely behind.
Both of them stood in front of the director, finding it hard to believe. Deng Yu pouted and asked the director, "What's up with you today? Leaving so quickly, are you going to meet a lover?"
The director struck Deng Yu lightly, "Don't talk nonsense, I am an honest man."
"Faithful and passionate."
This was murmured by Qi Teng who was quietly standing beside Shen Lan. The director stood on the high platform, cheerfully addressing everyone, "Today is a joyful day, I'm going to treat everyone to a meal, how does that sound?"
A murmur ran through the crowd, which numbered about a hundred people. The director treating everyone was indeed a grand gesture.
Everybody was cheering and jumping with joy.
The director continued, "I'm treating everyone to a buffet...everyone make sure to be there tonight, I've already booked a hotel."
"And it's a luxurious hotel, you shouldn't miss it."
