Walking into the company, Shen Lan entered the office and immediately noticed Xia Mo laughing and chatting with their colleagues.
"Xia Mo," Shen Lan called out, staring at Xia Mo's back.
Surprisingly, after only a few days without seeing each other, Xia Mo had managed to seamlessly blend in with the rest of the staff, seemingly forgetting all about Shen Lan.
Thinking she might be hearing things, Xia Mo looked around, "Who's calling me? Who's calling me?"
"Who's calling me!"
"This silly girl," Shen Lan said out loud, "I'm calling you. Did you forget about me already after just a few days?"
It was then that Xia Mo spotted Shen Lan. She left her colleagues and hurried over to Shen Lan's side.
With a beaming smile, she exclaimed, "You're finally here, I missed you so much when you were away from the office."
Shen Lan gave Xia Mo an appraising look, noticing that she seemed more energetic, with a healthy glow to her skin and fuller in frame.
