Resigned to obey, Shen Lan took her place in the passenger seat while Cheng Yanqing drove.
As they drove, Shen Lan's cell phone rang. Cheng Yanqing glanced over and continued driving, "Who's calling you? It isn't some guy, is it?"
Cheng Yanqing frowned slightly, irritated, and glanced at the name on the phone screen – Xia Mo. "Don't talk nonsense," she retorted.
"If you keep talking like that, I'll get angry."
"You know I only love you and wouldn't flirt with any other man."
Of course, Cheng Yanqing understood this, but Shen Lan was exceptionally charming, which was why some men couldn't help being attracted to her.
Feeling somewhat aggrieved, she said, "I know that, but isn't there a man harassing you?"
"I'll arrange for a bodyguard to protect you all the time, would that be okay?"
"That sounds a bit over the top," Shen Lan replied incredulously. "Cheng Yanqing, don't act like this. I don't like it. I told you I prefer to keep a low profile."
"Alright then."
