As she couldn't switch seats, Shen Lan made the effort to distance herself from Cheng Yanqing, pretending not to recognize him and leaning away in the opposite direction.
Shen Lan was sitting in the middle, with a middle-aged man leaning towards her from her left. She found it a bit uncomfortable but didn't make much of it, trying to avoid any touch.
