"I'm looking for He Nansheng."
Jin Muchen declared, his face expressionless. He scanned the area, but didn't see He Nansheng.
Qin Pei understood instantly. He recalled the conversation he had had with Jin Muchen during their last social event and also began searching the room for He Nansheng.
He didn't find He Nansheng either.
Only a few minutes remained. Although Qin Pei was worried, he maintained his nonchalant demeanour.
"He might be a bit late; he should arrive any minute now. We still have a few minutes."
"Hmm." Jin Muchen didn't respond as he spotted Su Qiqi running towards them.
The small figure in the distance gradually became clearer. Su Qiqi stopped in front of them, holding three bottles of water in her arms, "Anyone want water?"
Jin Muchen took a bottle first and then handed one to each of the others. Qin Pei took the one meant for Lin Chuchu.
