Su Qiqi spent her day with Lin Chuchu and returned to her villa in the evening but Jin Muchen hadn't arrived home yet; the room was empty.
"Where's Jin Lin?" Su Qiqi asked Aunt Liu.
"Ma'am, Jin Lin had gone to his grandpa's house and will return tomorrow."
Su Qiqi nodded, sat down on the sofa, and tried to skim through a magazine, but her mind was in such a mess she couldn't focus on anything.
Lin Chuchu was behaving almost exactly as she used to, even appearing happier, showing no signs of a recent heartbreak.
